  • Mt. Gox creditors can now receive repayments since the deadline for them to provide their repayment information has passed, but it will take some time for repayments to be made, according to a letter from the Mt. Gox Trustee.

  • US, Japan, and South Korea's special envoys expressed concerns about North Korea's nuclear program and its cyber activities, including theft and laundering of funds through cryptocurrencies.

  • Bitcoin miner Sphere 3D is suing its business partner Gryphon Digital Mining for allegedly sending $500,000 worth of its bitcoin to a scammer who posed as Sphere 3D's CFO.

  • Bitcoin's mining difficulty and hash rate have both reached all-time highs.

  • Paxos's application for a national banking charter expired at the end of March, but the stablecoin issuer may reapply, according to a spokesperson.

  • zkSync found a solution to release the 921 ETH ($1.7 million) locked in Gemholic’s smart contract on the Ethereum Layer 2 network, which was previously frozen due to an issue with the use of a problematic .transfer() function.

  • The Bank of England is reportedly seeking to form a 30-person team to work on a central bank digital currency (CBDC), with roles such as Digital Pound Security Architect and Digital Pound Solutions Architect available.
